CUET PG 2022 starts tommorow: Here's 5 rules to remember before appearing for exam

CUET PG 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting entrances from September 1. CUET PG will be held from tomorrow for postgraduate programmes in central government universities. The CUET 2022 PG exam guidelines include shift timings and lists of items the applicants can carry to the exam centers. The CUET will be held till 12 September and will be scheduled in two slots, first from 10 am to 12 noon and the second between 3 pm and 5 pm.

RBI mulls setting up of fraud registry to check banking frauds

As part of its efforts to strengthen customer protection, Reserve Bank is considering setting up a fraud registry to create a database of fraudulent websites, phones and various modus operandi used for digital fraud. Such a database will help prevent these fraudsters from repeating the fraud as the websites or phone numbers would be blacklisted, RBI executive director Anil Kumar Sharma said on Monday.

Noida twin towers demolished: No damage to societies around Ground Zero

Noida twin towers demolition: The twin towers of Supertech was brought to the ground in under 9 seconds on Sunday. Around 500 police and traffic personnel besides the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) were deployed in the area around Supertech's twin towers. The area was put out of bounds for civilians ahead of Sunday's planned demolition of the structures. Road diversions were put in place early in the morning, as the evacuation of all residents from the two adjoining housing societies of Emerald Court and ATS Village in Sector 93A was completed around 8 am. Over 3,700 kg of explosives has been loaded into the twin towers, which are scheduled to be imploded at 2.30 pm, and an area of roughly 500 square metres around them has been converted into an exclusion zone, where no human, vehicle or animal is allowed.

Govt decides to put restrictions on export of wheat flour to curb prices

The government on Thursday decided to put restrictions on the export of wheat or meslin flour to curb rising prices of the commodity. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi here. The decision of the Cabinet "will now allow to put a restriction on the export of Wheat Flour which will ensure a curb on rising prices of wheat flour and ensure food security of the most vulnerable sections of the society," an official statement said. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) will issue a notification to this effect.

South Korea has signed a 3 trillion won ($2.25 billion) deal with a Russian state-run nuclear energy company to provide components for Egypt's first nuclear power plant. South Korea's government said Thursday the contract between the state-run Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power and ASE requires the South Koreans to provide turbine-related equipment and construction work for the plant that is being built in Dabaa, about 130 kilometers (80 miles) northwest of Cairo on the Mediterranean coast.
